Kanonkop is a 4th generation family-owned wine estate in Stellenbosch, which has been handed down from generation to generation and is now in the hands of brothers Paul and Johann Krige. The Kanonkop Kadette Pinotage 2022 is bright purple red in colour. A bold, enticing nose of cherries, red and black plums, strawberry coulis, vanilla, cinnamon and allspice. The palate is packed with juicy raspberries, plums, cranberries, milk chocolate, cedar and layers of baking spices. Medium bodied with refreshing, balanced acidity, fine grained tannins and a long satisfying finish.
