PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Paul Wallace Wines is a small family run business with the farm located in Elgin, previously best known for its apples and pears, which is one of the most exciting developing wine regions within the South African wine industry and indeed internationally. The Paul Wallace Braveheart Pinot Noir 2021 proudly displays a bright, vibrant, cranberry-hued colour, enticing you to explore it further. The nose is defined by a combination of red cherries, wild forest strawberries, watermelon and cardamom, with a background hint of Turkish delight. The fruit-driven palate reveals red cherry and cranberry, balanced with fine silky tannins imparted by the subtle use of Burgundian oak barriques. This red wine finishes with a lovely, lingering aftertaste so typical of Elgin cool climate Pinot Noirs.
FOOD PAIRING:
